About This Trip
The Private Boat Buyout is the pinnacle of the Kenai River guided fishing experience. You're not sharing the boat with strangers — you've got the whole operation to yourself. The guide, the drift boat, the gear, the fish hold — all dedicated entirely to your group. This is the trip corporate retreats are built on. It's the anniversary trip. It's the father-son tradition. $1,000 for 2 anglers. $1,100 for 3. Maximum 4 anglers for trout trips, 5 for salmon trips.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the max group size?
Up to 5 anglers for salmon trips. Up to 4 for trout trips. For larger groups (6+), ask about multi-boat options.
Can we pick our fishing location?
Yes — within guide discretion based on conditions and regulations. Tell us your goals and we build the day around them.
Is gratuity included?
Gratuity is not included but is greatly appreciated. The standard is 15–20% for outstanding service.
Booking Policies
Deposits & Payments
A 50% deposit is required at booking to hold your dates. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your trip. All major credit cards accepted.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations outside 30 days receive a full refund minus a 5% processing fee. Cancellations within 30 days forfeit the deposit unless we can re-book the dates. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Weather & Safety
Trips run rain or shine. If the captain deems conditions unsafe, your trip will be rescheduled or fully refunded. Safety is always the top priority.
