3/4 Day Fishing Trips
The Sweet Spot
About This Trip
Six hours on the Kenai River is no small thing. The 3/4 day trip hits the best bite windows of the day without the full commitment of a 9-hour float. We typically launch to catch the incoming or outgoing tide push — the highest-percentage windows for fresh salmon entering the system — and come off the water before the midday lull. This trip is perfect for groups that want a premium experience and a full cooler without being on the water all day.

Best season for 3/4 day trips?
July for peak Sockeye action. August for Silvers. September–October for trophy trout.
